Congrats @Mindy Jensen and @Scott Trench!
Can't wait to give it a listen! I've been a follower of Mr. Money Mustache and his newsletter for years. I agree with @Mike Dymski, savings and budget (especially for newer investors) is vital to an investor's growth. I try to take that to the next level with insurance, taxes, and estate planning as well.
Just subscribed and listened. Great content, love it. Thanks so much for doing this.
One feedback - with great content like this I hope the audio quality gets better.. perhaps a better mic and audio processing afterwards. Not sure how to explain it, the audio signal is too hot, could be soften so it's easier to listen. Again, I LOVE the podcast and will keep listening, hope you're ok with the feedback.
Great podcast 👍
Great first episode for the new podcast!
Way to go guys I'll be listening
This is going to be great!
Congratulations! I can't wait to listen!
Great first episode! Personal Finance is something I am a huge fan of myself, and can not be understated how valuable it is to both real estate investors, and the general working person themselves.
Are you going to do episodes with listeners or other non bloggers about personal finance? I think people (myself included) could either be used as examples, or at least provide case studies for how to improve personal finance. Something to parallel the beginner episodes on the real estate BP podcast.
Subscribed and looking forward to more content!

@Scott Trench you likely already know this but Jay Papasan recommended your book on Jake & Gino's podcast (at the 45 minute mark)...a recommendation from an international best selling author...that's remarkable. Congrats.
I subscribed last night and listened during my commute this morning. Loved it and I’m looking forward to more episode!
Don't have iTunes, is podcast on you tube?
Thank you BP! Another quality podcast to listen to is exactly what I needed for 2018!!
I actually had not heard of Mr Money Mustache until this episode. Really enjoyed it, and have read a couple articles on MMM’s site. Good stuff!
2018 is going to be a big year for me, and I’ll look at it as you guys are setting the pace. Thanks!
This is amazing! Mr. Money Mustache is what got me onto the entire idea of financial independence, and Bigger Pockets arguably provides one of the best ways to achieve that goal.
I've been waiting for this! @Scott Trench & @Mindy Jensen wahoo, great job.
Is there a transcript? I'm one of those people just too impatient to listen to a whole podcast. Thanks!

@Kenneth LaVoie , there is a transcript on the show notes. page
Pumped for a new podcast! Can’t wait to listen!
I’ve been super busy at work and dealing with issues at the commercial building I purchased mid 2017 (hard freeze, busted water lines, been down a week) and missed the last 2 BP podcast!
I just subscribed and downloaded your podcast and I’m looking forward to hearing it and catching up on the others! Congratulations!
@Scott Trench and @Mindy Jensen, thank you for the new pod cast. I actually do not listen to pod casts as they come out, I wait and listen when I make runs for materials (often a 5 hour round trip) when I go on trips. When I get a chance to work on a property for long periods like installing sub floors etc. I also squeeze them in. I have not gone to the MMM site in quite awhile but really enjoyed the times I have. Free time is a scarce thing. I decided today was a work ON your business not a work IN your business day and have been spending time on BP and thinking about some goals and strategies for the business. Wishing you a Happy and fruitful new year.
Listened really enjoyed it.

The key on my side has been to combine the podcasts and audio books with tasks that need to be done or would otherwise be dead time. While there are many times where multi-tasking isn't the best, listening to a podcast or audiobook while driving, during household chores, or yard work is worthwhile to me.
I can trace at least two deals in the past year to ideas directly attributable to this practice.
Full Disclosure - I like the videos too but try to be more conscious of the time involved so I don't lose track of time. It can be easy to spend too much time on those.
Its all a balance of what works best for each of us. Best of luck!
I am with you, I dont have the time to do regular reading, but I do listen to podcasts when I am driving, doing yardwork, showering/getting ready in the morning etc, time that would otherwise go wasted.
Awesome topic, great expansion of the BP brand. A big fan of the new podcast!!!!
Mr. Money Mustache’s blog was something I stumbled across years ago and was my first introduction to the concept of financial independence. He’s one of my financial heroes. When I saw BP is starting another podcast I thought I couldn’t be more excited - until I learned that you recruited MMM as the first guest! The first episode was great and I can’t wait for the next one! Keep up the good work Mindy Jensen and @Scott Trench!
