Thanks all for the replies. It sure does sound that the top loader reigns supreme when it comes to affordability and ease of use. I appreciate all the insight!

thank you @Bjorn Ahlblad and @Bill B. for you quick responses. I didn't even think about the soap aspect at all and what that can do to the unit. I guess it has always been the unbalanced loads that have always gotten me out to the property to level the units out which I was trying to avoid but nothing is perfect that's for sure. Thanks again!

Hello,

I am looking for anyone who recommends an electrician in the Minneapolis area?

Rental property currently has an 100AMP box with only 60AMP breakers apparently?

I am looking to get quotes on what installing a new box and upgrading to possibly 150-200AMP's would cost along with installing a few (2) new 240 volt outlets that can support electric dryer and range.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance!

Hi all,

Just curious what folks thoughts are on front loading vs. top loading washing machines.

I do see there is a significant cost difference in that the front loader is more expensive than the top loaders, but are they more efficient/heavy duty/desired by tenants?

The current top loader I have is destroyed, possibly due to it being left unbalanced for a while so I am leaning toward the front loader as I have not had as many issues with Front loaders as the Top loaders, but I am on the fence if the extra $4-500 or so is worth it or not.

Just looking for any insight or thoughts from fellow landlords on this before I decide to buy.

Thank you in advance!

That is a great start @Corey Mills. Anything from BP is solid to start with.

I'd highly recommend the podcasts as well. They are packed full of information and are awesome to listen to during lunch breaks or commutes to/from work!
