Good Question. I see an excess of vacation homes now too. However, it happens with less attractive properties (No private pool or other key features). These homes just being move under long term rental programs. STRs stay highly occupied (80% +). Considering the fact that we hardly have any international travelers at this point, we see even more business in the near future once borders reopen. But, again, the opportunities will be for the "right properties".

Valentina, do you think the STR space in Orlando, Kissimmee, or Davenport will become oversaturated?

Hi Eric. It depends on condo and community amenities. If you get a condo around $200k, I do not believe that there will be $5000 of monthly revenue.

Greetings, Toni. I have my own vacation rental in Kissimmee, and my office manages short terms around Disney. Maybe I can help to answer some of the questions and share opinion.

Greeting, Ismael. We found that since family homes with the pools are most desired by the guests. So, I recommend to focus on these. Also, no more than 15 minutes drive away from Disney. Possibly either pond or conservation view. The rest you can determine by the purchasing price. Good Luck!

Hi Annette. I think it's not a bad idea to hold for now as market is not investor friendly at the moment. You an get a good money by renting it out if you keep it

Joseph, it all depends on your personal interests. Are you planning to stay in your vacation rental/second home? If not, and it's a pure investment, I would go by property statements. Compare both. Plus, make sure you consider the property age. In Kissimmee, we do not have 30+ years old vacation rentals; however, at the beach, there are probably much older homes. It may impact negatively the property value.
