I am also interested in owning foreign assets, especially in South America. @Mike Lambert has been able to answer all of my questions thoroughly and he is right that those goals are much more feasible and realalistic than the average person might think. For my situation those goals are a lot closer then I would have originally thought. Good Luck! @Daniel Dawson

Have you only looked into Ecuador? The personal connections do make it appealing and have lead me to look at certain countries in South America more than others, but ultimately it is a variety of factors that affect if it is a good market. I was curious about if you would be financing any of these projects and what that process might look like for foreigners. @Kyle James Horstmann

Congrats on the new career! I am also fairly new and have been starting out by trying to network as much as possible. I have been able to meet some very solid people on both the buying and selling side and learn from what they have done as real estate agents and also investors. Good luck! @Steven Foster Wilson

As said before, all the cities have their own differences. It all depends on your goals for cash for and appreciation. I would definitely take a look at Columbus if you are considering the mother two. @Fritz Liedtke
