Hi BP family,

I want to set up an easy and inexpensive financial system like Quicken for Mac computers to help me budget, track both personal and business expenses, and pay off debt.  Do you use or have used Quicken for Mac?  Do you still use it or did you stop using it?  What has been your experience with Quicken for Mac?  Thanks

Rebecca

@Ray Slack Thank you very much for the suggestions Ray. I will definitely look into Tri-star Realty.  Do you know anyone personally who works or has worked for them?  I'd like to know what their experience with them is or was.  Thanks again.

Hi BP family,

I going to start taking Maryland RE licensing classes this month and have several questions.

  1. Once I'm a licensed Realtor as an Investor, what should I look for when choosing a Realtor/Investor friendly Broker?
  2. What would the approximate Broker/Realtor commission fee be if I am also an RE Investor?
  3. Does my Broker receive a commission if I purchase or sell a property as an Investor?
  4. How do Realtors who are also experienced Investors do this legally and ethically?
  5. Are there certain criteria in being a successful Realtor and RE Investor you can suggest?

Please excuse my many questions. I know this is a good place to get feedback, so I thank you in advance for your reply and suggestions.

@Teri Feeney Styers Thank you for your suggestions about being Maryland specific and considering a "boutique" Broker.  That's definitely something I will look into. Thank you for your reply and great suggestions, I appreciate it.

@Brian Mcmenamin, @Braden Smith, @Jay Hinrichs  Thank you very much for your advice. I will follow your advice and stay within the Law and not post pictures of the properties unless I own them or am a Realtor.  I will look for alternative ways to Market the contracts, thanks.

Hi BP PRO Friends,

I am in the process of setting up my website to show pictures of properties in Maryland I want to Wholesale and to connect with serious Cash Buyers.  But a RE Broker friend of mine in Louisiana said I can't do that without being a Realtor/Broker even if I have the Sellers permission.  He is a Broker and Investor who Flips houses in his city.  I don't want to break any Laws or do anything unethical.  Is he right about Maryland or is that just in Louisiana?

Any experienced Wholesalers in Maryland that can tell me if and how they're marketing their Wholesale deals within our State Laws without being a Realtor/Broker?  Thank you in advance for any information, ideas and tips you can provide.

@Andrew Faukner I agree, that is a great idea and many Investors would benefit from using it.
