@Account Closed  Although I have met several Agents that work with RE Investors, some tend to do like you said and use the standard RE contracts. I on the other hand have made several attempts over the last five years to be a RE Investor and lost thousands to so called gurus in the process of learning the Investor side of RE.  So I decided to be a Realtor and work exclusively with RE Investors since I spend most of my time around them, understand the Investor side of things and prefer and really like working with Investors  : )

Thank you for the great creative financing suggestions. I'm going to have work on becoming knowledgable on some of the ones you mentioned that I'm not familiar with i.e front porch clauses, vertical break up and seller financing with split notes.  Thank you for your post.

@Kimberly Ferguson Hi Kimberly, you certainly have your hands full  : )  But it sounds like you're handling it.  I currently don't have as much on my plate as you do but my challenge is pausing from time to time to work on my RE business and not so much in it. That way I can take a look at what needs to be changed, improved or eliminated all together from my business.  Thank you for sharing.

@Eric Jones  Hey Eric, I chuckled when I read your post because I was wondering when someone would say that fast cards was their hobby : )    Fine Art and fast cars definitely require lots of funding but are great hobbies as well.  A good art collection can be lucrative too. Thank you for sharing.

@Greg H.  That's great that you get a chance to enjoy golfing and basketball pretty regularly, and traveling with your wife.  I'm not as active as that but am looking for a happy medium between working so much with Real Estate and making time for relaxation and fun.  I enjoy walking, RE and reading RE and all types of business related books and magazines.

Thank you for your post.

@Ned Carey Building model trains sounds interesting. I have heard about building model cars and boats but not trains. Hopefully your new Girlfriend can share this hobby with you and/or you can get back to playing your guitar by singing to her : )

Thank you for sharing.

Hi BP,

Other than Bigger Pockets, what other resources do you use to get good RE investing advice?  Do you read certain magazines, other investing websites, etc?  If so, why do you like that or those particular resources?  Thank you in advance for your reply.

As a Real Estate Investor and/or Agent, do you have hobbies outside of doing Real Estate?  If so, what are they and how often do you get to enjoy your hobby or hobbies?  Thank you in advance for your reply.

@Will Barnard Thank you for sharing your and the article's insights. I too have noticed that the more ways I let RE Investors, Sellers and Buyers know that I am available to serve them, the better.  Whether that is via my business cards, website, social media and/or advertising. Thank you for your post Will, I appreciate it!

@Charlie MacPherson Wow, great suggestions and idea!  Thank you very much Charlie! These will help me really think through my logo in a way I had not done so before.  That may be why I wasn't able to come up with one that I liked.  The ones I came up with didn't seem to say anything relevant to me or my RE business. Thanks again!

@Charlie MacPherson  Thank you for your post. It took a while for me to decide to add my photo to my business cards since I didn't like being such a public figure. But you have a really nice logo going for you. I like your sailing logo and your message behind it. I've been trying to come up with a logo for my RE business for the last six months without much success.  Did you create it yourself or have help with it?  Any recommendations for me on getting one?  Thanks
