@Stephen Waldroup Oh that's good. Doing a BRRR from long distance can be extremely challenging. I would know, I've tried it! Now I prefer long distance "turnkey" investing. Works very well for me.

@Stephen Waldroup Is this property located near you? I couldn't tell from the report, or maybe I'm reading it wrong. I completely understand your last concern about doing all the work and barely making a return. Is this your first venture into REI?

@Julie S. Hi, Julie! We got to speak frequently too, and I'm so sorry that you are CLEARLY very upset with the way things have turned out. As an investor in Indy purchasing properties similar to the one you purchased, I have been overall pleased with the process. Some PMs are definitely more challenging to work with in Indy than others, but since being both a client, and now an employee, with HRRE and using their preferred PMs, issues are non-existent which is why I continue to invest in C class properties in Indy. 

Again, I am truly sorry that things have not worked out as you had hoped. I really did enjoy the time we had working together!

@Marty Summers That's great!! I'm glad you are able to find something that works for you. You are fortunate to be in Indiana and close to where so many people are wanting to invest. For myself, I still like turnkey and having immediate cash flow since I don't have the time to stay on top of a rehab, plus, I'm out of state. Trusting an out of state company can be really hard with so many shady companies (not just in REI) out there. I'm glad I found a turnkey company that works for me! PS. Marty, after you and I spoke, I told my husband that I was pretty sure you and your wife would be our best friends if we lived in Indiana. You seriously are so funny!
