I am going to build a community swimming pool for my mobile home park development. Seems like something that the community could use, and I hope that it will raise outer community opinions of the park as a whole.

Factoring in inflation, I am not sure it's all that much harder in general now than it was before. I suppose three years of a middle class salary use to be the rule for buying a house. I am not sure that rings true anymore, and I'm not sure it really ever did in the past.

I have been using an IRA for years. I prefer being able to direct my savings to investments that match my ethos and morals.

I move from unit to unit one after the other. We never give the system downtime. If you give your lawyer and staff time to take on another Project, they will have to find the time to get back to yours!

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you think outside the box. Most people wouldn't consider using credit cards to fund their REI, mostly out of fear of debt I guess! I think it's great what companies like Seed Capital and WCAP financial do.

1 year of rents is what I keep in reserve for emergencies. I tend to need it pretty often I have a few unsavory tenants and my units seem to require assistance every second week. For new buys, I would try and have at least triple my down payment as seed capital.

I have just received my first phone calls from Seed Capital, and was thoroughly impressed by their transparency. I may have just gotten a good salesman on the phone, but I am keen to continue with their services if they keep this up.

@Barbra Thebenyane, I have found biggerpockets to be a great community of like minded investors, where I can discuss and learn more about the intricacies of my chosen field of REI - Mobile home parks.
