Hey everyone,

I recently listened to Joe McCall speak about Wholesaling Lease Options at a local REI meetup here in St. Louis. The whole process seems very interesting to me. The process seems pretty straight forward and simple. I can see some of the negatives that weren't addressed and wanted to see what peoples experience is doing this.

Negatives:

-Finding tenants

-Having a tenant that destroys the house(would I be liable?)

These are the 2 main concerns I have. Joe does sell his course for $1500 or so that walks you through everything. I want to be as diverse as possible and this seems like a good way to branch out. Let me know your thoughts!

Post: Help With Bandit Signs

Hey everyone,

I am getting ready to do my first Bandit Sign campaign in my market. I wanted to see what suggestions you guys have to make them as successful as possible. I am thinking about changing up the colors from the typical black and yellow signs I see all the time to make the stand out above all the others. I am debating between blue background and white lettering or I also saw some with a black background and pink lettering. That seems like a bit much to me. However I am open to any suggestions!  Thanks!

@Tim Sisk Thats awesome!

I am just getting started out in the St. Louis market and have a round of bandit signs going out in the next few weeks so I am interested to see how that goes. It seems to be pretty active. St. Louis is a hot market right now so it seems to take some extra work finding the deals. So far the leads I have found are pretty overpriced. Granted the leads I have found were already investor owned so that could be part of the problem!

On another note, 1300 skydives?!?! That's awesome. I have always wanted to skydive but have not been able to pull the trigger yet!

Post: What do you use for taxes?

Good morning everyone!

This is my first year being self employed and I would love to know what/who you use for taxes. I typically use Turbo Tax for my w-2 employment.

Now that I am no longer a W-2 employee I am open to any and all suggestions. Do you use a different software? Or would it be best to use someone who professionally does taxes? I currently use an app called "Shoeboxed" to keep track of all my receipts and mileage.

Any help would be awesome! Thank you in advance!
