Does putting in an offer for cash offer but with a home sale contingency Carey more weight than offer with mortgage (20% down) with also home sale contingency?

I would assume yes as there is no doubt about having to qualify for the loan once the contingent home gets sold?

Looking to qualify for a STR property second home which makes qualifying income tougher supposedly and with 30% drop in w2 income due to covid another challenge..

If someone is not able to qualify for a mortgage, can they pay cash then refi? Or are refi requirements the same as for a conventional loan?

Do dividends from stock count as income to qualify for a mortgage ?

Great advice and insights thanks. Issue is the property would not save me 5k FSBO it's more like saving me 54K on possible realtor fees... so this is serious money. Especially in this type of market I was considering taking a stab at FSBO...

What is the best way for termites to be detected ? Inspectors seem to miss these issues all the time, how can I do my best due diligence?

Hello, I am looking at investment properties in Florida. Many and nicely renovated but old homes (1960s). In a previous Florida home I had termite issues and they seem to be hard to detect in an inspection.

Any ideas/ advice/ things to look for when purchasing a home like this in regards to termites or anything else (plumbing?)
