@Vincent Maniquis -  you should be able to check with the NY licensing at the state.  As long as you pass the state test (after 18) while the class is still good you should be fine.

I also made a quick video on top myths for people getting into real estate - it might be worth checking out.  Here's the link to top 3 myths about real estate.

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $98,000
Cash invested: $5,000

I bought my first rental in college! Roommates helped pay the bill and it gave me a taste of RE investment.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

As a young college kid I needed to live as cheaply as possible!

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

We found it the old fashioned way, driving through a neighborhood.

What was the outcome?

We still have this rental, and it's appreciated extremely well!

@Harrison Sharp - like any other crm its only worth it if you use it.

If you plan on hiring agents I’d recommend thinking more long term. It’s definitely more expensive than Monday, but it’s real estate specific.

It’s a big investment, but it’s definitely been a tool that helps us grow.

It depends on what your goal is. I’ve been a single agent and done what you’ve done, and now we have a brokerage with 50 agents and property management.

If you want to stay small and simple, look for small and simple.

If you want the best, look at Boomtown

@Account Closed - there are a ton of real estate coaches out there that are amazing. Tom Ferry is the big one right now. I coach other agents/team leaders grow their business in a partnership with one of our technology vendors.

@Sheila Vardakis

I've used many different CRM's - the best one is the one you will use! My short answer is BoomTown.  I believe in it so much that I provide it for our entire team.  It can work for a solo agent and is fully scalable for large organizations.  You will get what you pay for, so I'd recommend gaining clarity on what you want out of your CRM.....
