Hi to all and welcome to BP! I'm a wholesaler in South Florida, I consider myself a Vet now, but I learned a wealth of information from this site and offline events when I first started out.

There are a dozen groups in South Florida. I'd recommend D Allen Johnson's Real Estate and Business Network. Its a small, less formal setting than the BREIA's, but the more intimate setting makes for better relationship building.

I'm also in South Florida. There are great opportunities here but our market has become saturated with investors over the last 18 months so you have to remain consistent with your offers to get anywhere.

Anaylsis paralysis can slow you down..I don't think you need to read anymore than one or two books.

I suggest newbie investors begin wholesaling instead of rehabbing.., as there is less risk and money involved...at least until you learn the market
