Hello fellow investors.

I just started my first ever direct mail campaign here in South Florida. I have been wholesaling properties for one yr now and recently found that my bandit signs were not generating enough leads so I purchased a list of absentee owners and put myself on a shedule to mail 250 letters per week (I'm starting small). My letters are written in handwritten font on white paper photocopied. They play on the emotions of tired landlords to encourage them to call me. They are hand addressed in standard envelopes. This is very time consuming approach, however I figured I try this as a test for a while.

It took me 6 hours to prepare 250 letters.

And here are the results
250 letters
4 calls total
3 were tire kickers (just curious of what they could get for there property)
1 solid potential wholesale deal in progress

So were looking a little under 2% REPONSE RATE which is better
than what I expected... Any feedback

I let you guys know the week 2 results!
