It sounds like you are really talking this seriously and that is the best start!! Your research seems to be going well. I, personally grab a larger list to start a mailing campaign, but it can't hurt to start with that first 100. Direct mail can have great results, you just need to be diligent with it. Listening to the Podcast and their quick tip talked about the Holidays being a great time to purchase real estate, especially REO and Bank owned. I agree and was wondering some of your thoughts on trying to hunker down for this last month and really focusing in on finding a deal, or maybe even two or three!! I am newly in the Tampa/St. Pete area, so I am still learning the area, but I would love to hear some other's ideas and plans for the Holiday Season in regards to real estate

I am an investor and local Realtor in Saint Petersburg, FL. (just outside of Tampa). I recently moved here from Atlanta and love the area.  I spent about 8 months looking into the area and researching and am glad I picked the area.  Pinellas/Hillsborough is a great choice and if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to reach.  Good Luck!!

Just passed my Sales Associate License Exam!! I'm in the St. Petersburg area.  I've interviewed a few Brokers in the area, and was wondering if anyone had any tips, advice, or suggestions.

Congratulations!!! Just finished my Pre Licensing this week, and am looking to take the exam ASAP! I just moved from GA a couple of weeks ago where I have been doing REI for a little over a year. Good luck with finding a Broker and let us know how it goes

Hello All,

Just moved to Saint Petersburg this past weekend. I started late last year in Wholesaling, and was lucky enough to have 3 deals fall into my lap in the first few months. I began working on my RE License in March, but a week later my wife was offered a job in this great city. So, with her needing to be here in 2 weeks, we packed her up, and I have spent the last couple of months getting the house ready to move out. Now that I am finally here for good, I am going to start on my License here and am looking to continue my REI education, and continue working some deals. I am looking into the local REIA clubs, and hope to work with some of you along the way.
