Great review! Not only did you eliminate some of the speculation on the software itself, you even took the time to mention some software alternatives that accomplish the same thing.
We are considering signing up at my company. Currently, we don't use squeeze pages or do any sort of direct marketing to target off market sellers. I've done some of this personally in the past, before the internet became near ubiquitous, and it was (as most can guess) a lot of work.
@John Smith (or anyone else) : how has your direct marketing utilizing the web been? I've always assumed that people that had houses to get rid of at a discount didn't hit the web to look for a place to sell. But I'm open to the idea that I could be misguided on that.
So far my web pages have been useless. I have had them up for about 8 months now, and everyone that is serious calls. Direct mail expect a 1-4% return depending on what you are targeting. I just sent out 1500 last week and am up to about 8 calls so far. One used my squeeze page and ended up still calling. My squeeze page is simple though, I only collect name email and phone number if they allow. Name and email required. I had a few sign ups that went no further, but unless they unsubscribe my auto responder keeps in touch with them. So who knows, the lead isn't dead maybe still just making up their mind.
So in closing yes I mostly direct mail, with multiple ways to contact me on the mailing, and 99.9% all call me, not use the squeeze page.
