Congrats on your first post! I have been investing in turnkey properties in Indy for about 3 1/2 years. I've utilized four different TK companies and I can tell you that they are all different. I have found what works best for me through the company I am now affiliated with. They manage 400 doors in Indy and are growing. PM me if you'd like to discuss my experiences further!

@Bernard B. You've come to a great place to learn! I have worked with a few overseas investors, even one in UAE. I got to learn what WhatsApp is! It really is important to have a good team in place. @Nova Mendoza @Michael Hy I fully understand how difficult it is to invest in your own backyard when your backyard is the CA market. Same goes for the Seattle area, New Jersey, and the list goes on. I have always invested OOS because I can't duplicate what I'm doing in Indianapolis anywhere I've lived. It's important to do your due diligence though, because not all turnkey companies are the same. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to discuss further!

@Raj Kissoon Welcome! If you're looking at TK, consider looking outside the NY market to a more affordable market possibly? I have found success investing OOS with a full TK operation (rehabbed, 3rd party inspected, and a tenant placed with in-house management). Don't feel like you HAVE to invest where you live. You have options!
