Investing while living overseas...

I’m currently living overseas in Abu Dhabi, UAE and I’m very interested in purchasing multi-family properties back in the US. While abroad I am trying to learn as much as I can through the Bigger Pockets forums and podcasts (analyzing deals, creative financing, etc). Is there anyone who has invested while living abroad? Are there any tips on things I can be working on while living here? Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

I purchased my first property while overseas. As said before it really is all about the team you have. My most important member was my realtor. He introduced me to my loan agent and others. Rockstars really do know rockstars.

It’s all about effective communications and having that trust. Having a printer/scanner handy and a notary nearby helps a lot. I was able to close in about 35 days because I trusted my team and did what I was told by my lender.

Best move I’ve made is to find the rockstars and trust them. Always leave a great review for them as well.
