@Matt Foster I would be interested to read the content of the mailer that you are sending. A good option might be to test some different letter styles and content and see what people are responding better to. Make sure you are sending professional (typed) letter rather than a handwritten style and show how you can help them.

Hey BP,
How do you know which mailer to send? Letters or Postcards?
Letters
If your direct mail campaign is focused on a niche group of potential sellers (for example driving for dollars, probate, pre forclosure etc), consider sending letters. They have the best response rate and tend to stick out in the mail. They will be well worth the investment. Check out our handwritten and professional letters to see our unique designs!
Postcards
If you are looking to get your mailer in front of a large group of people, go with postcards. Our postcards are designed to grab the reader’s attention to ensure your message gets across in a clear and concise manner. Postcards are a great tool to keep prices down and responses up.
Tri-fold Flyers
To get the best of both worlds look into tri-fold flyers. This is a hybrid of a letter and postcard. You get the high response rate of a letter with the quick access of a postcard. It is right down the middle price wise so it is a great additional option.
If you’re still unsure, not to worry! You can always send out a test run with different types of mailers to determine which is best for you, your company, and your market.
Test.
Track.
Repeat.
As always reach out to me for all your direct mail questions and needs!

@Alex Yaglin Sounds more like an opportunity than an issue :) I would agree with Jerryll on this one. Good luck to you. Cheers!

@Justin Scott You want to skip trace the mailing address. That address will have the most up to date information and best data.

@Account Closed How much returned mail did you get back? And have you hit this list in the past? You could try scrubbing your list for vacant/deceased mailing addresses before mailing and that would save you some money. Did you double check the number with them? (Sounds like a simple question but it is important). I would also look into where you pulled the list from and make sure the data is good and up to date as mentioned above :) Cheers!

@Gus Muller I would say do direct mail if you are able to stay consistent and mail on a monthly basis. If you want to layer on another tactic you can look into ringless voicemail.

@Amanda Rose Are you sending the same postcard every time? That might be something to consider send a different postcard or better yet send a letter instead of a postcard. Letters may be more expensive but they tend to get better responses and with such a niche list it is better to dish the extra money to get results. Cheers!

Hey BP!
Did You Know?
98% of consumers bring their mail in the day it is delivered and 77% of them sort through it immediately.
Those are GREAT odds that your prospects will see your mailers the day they hit the mailbox! Send them a mailer they'll WANT to open! Check some out on our website.

@Erin Auman Yeah keep the first touch short and sweet. If you don't hear back follow up with a letter that provide a bit more info on what you can do for them. Keep following up until you hear from them. I would keep searching for a phone number if possible because a phone call is the most direct way to get your answers.

@Chris Gordon I will say it is a very neighborhood friendly name. If you are ever looking to invest in commercial properties it might seem a little less professional. But if it fits your target audience and resonates with your area then I say go for it.
