@Justin Pierce The owner gets it because it's their money that is late. Unless the property manager pays the rent on time to the owner and waits on the late paying renter to pay the management company, then I'd be ok with them keeping it.

@Derek Askew Just set a couple hour block of time and have all perspective renters come at the same time. That's what I do.

@Latonya Hinton Your landlord has mortgage payments and car payments too and probably lots of other expenses. It says a lot about you that you would even think you can stay when you owe them back rent without paying lol. Atleast this is a public forum and hopefully your new landlord wherever you try to move searches online and finds this thread so they can see your a non payer.

@Todd Dexheimer Hi Todd, you sound like someone that sells 30k mentor packages lol. Massive results are different for everyone. I have a few single family houses and a few duplexes and a few larger buildings. I buy a couple properties a year a renovate them myself. Honest question, if I would have given you my 30k instead of buying my first distressed property how would that get me on the road to "greatness" faster than just buying a property and getting started on that path?
