@Carly M. I know you don't want to hear it but if you didn't see the rent and deposits as transferring over on the closing docs and still signed anyway your out of luck. Should have said something at the closing table.

@Amy Little Sounds like your taking sides in a domestic dispute between your renters. You don't know what happened behind closed doors, was a police report filed? You can't return part of the deposit to her and try to charge him for the entire fix. They are both on the lease and both equally responsible for the unit. I'd get them both out and get the unit fixed and rented to someone qualified. As far as $1,200 to replace 2 wall panels and paint them... You need to find a new handy man lol, price out panel board and a gallon of paint and tell me how that should be a $1,200 repair.

@James Carollo There is for sure a shortage of skilled tradesmen out there. I teamed up with a master plumber to start a drain cleaning and repair company, he is the field manager and I do the admin work, scheduling and handle the money, I can have my guys booked out for a month solid if I want. I knew we would be busy but it's crazy how much work is out there.

@Iyana Williams If your renting you need to tell your landlord. The company that treated the bedbugs should have inspected the entire building and treated other units as well. Bedbugs never stay in one unit on a multi family infestation. Ask me how I know that lol.

@Harry Lin get them out now. Stop waiting. Your giving a known liar chances they dont deserve. Serve an eviction notice yesterday if you haven't already. You might not even be able to evict now that they are filling bankruptcy. You need an attorney to help you evict them. Stop reading online and go find an eviction attorney.

@Jason Wolven Generally speaking taxes aren't bad in Columbus it's when you start to get into some of the surrounding areas that they get up there.

@Zeke Liston For sure brotha, another thing I love about Columbus is all the bums on the street corners that nobody in charge seems to care to do anything about lol.
