Cementing my appointments with prospective tenants
Hey BP community,
Reaching out because I’ve been screening prospective tenants for a rental in Darby (less than .1 miles from SW Philly which is a low-middle/lower income area.
I’ve had no problems getting INITIAL interest in the rental, I’ve also had little to no feedback about the price being too high for the area HOWEVER I’ve run into a lot of no show appointments (at a much higher rate than I did for my other rentals) and even had prospects pay to do background/credit checks and still have not been able to cement a decent tenant.
Is there any specific tips/tricks anyone wouldn’t mind sharing? I.e anything specific I should say while showing property?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
