I read the book and was not really a huge fan. Sure it had a couple good ideas, but to me it was another hype book for people who are not self-starters. I rarely read books like that, but I was on vacation and had a copy someone gave me.

There are some good takeaways (about automation, creating systems, etc) but that was about it for me, although many people seem to have loved it.

I have noticed the only time I feel I am losing motivation is when I have a little lag in business, so the way I get more motivated is to get busy again. Sometimes this is starting another rehab project, sometimes it is something as simple as reviewing my website to see how I can improve it. Once I start a project I always remember why I started doing this in the first place, and the motivation comes right back.

Welcome to BP Arron! I love your mixture of various strategies and that is exactly what I am doing. I spent about two years rehabbing and selling and just bought our first two rentals this year. I am in the middle of a couple rehabs right now which will hopefully contribute to another couple rental purchases this winter. Good luck to you!

Welcome to BP John! Have you read the Ultimate Beginner's Guide ?

Even though you have some experience it is a nice primer on real estate and is a good read for any experience level. Have you already completed wholesale deals or have you just started in that area?
