Post: Property closed. Delinquent water bill pops up

Who was supposed to call the town for the final water reading? For me, my attorney does that and provides the paperwork before closing so I can look it over myself.

Did your attorney say that the title company was going to call the town for the final water reading and did not do so?

I was at a foreclosure auction today and it was for the second mortgage. Can someone explain to me how that works in Massachusetts. The auctioneer said if I buy it today, I will have to pay the first mortgage off at closing. Is it really that simple and I own the house? I wanted to buy it, but I wasn't sure how the whole process worked.

Thanks

Easiest way to trace a google number is through social engineering. An example is they will call and pretend to be a seller. You will then meet them at a property and they are waiting with citation in hand.

Licensed only. You can't even replace a front door without a licensed contractor pulling the permit.

What is wrong with a quit claim deed? I always thought a title search and title insurance would be ok.

I am rehabbing our first mobile home and instead of throwing away all paneling and sheetrocking, I decided to just replace a few rooms worth with new paneling from home depot. I finished one room today and then read the little warning label on the sheets. It says i cannot use it in mobile homes!

I called and asked, and the rep from GP said I can not use the product in mobile homes because a mobile home is too much of a confined space and there is too much formaldehyde out gassing.

My question, do I throw it all in the trash, or can I at least maybe oil base primer it and 2 coats of paint to seal in the formaldehyde on my 1 finished room?

I will return all the unused pieces and look for a non formaldehyde product tomorrow.

BTW, the big box store says its fine and everyone uses it in mobile homes.

Thanks

I'm writing up the listing for the mls sale ad and was writing it as 1 bedroom units, but when I went to the towns assessors page, its listed as 2 bedroom units, and i've never owned a multi before and wasn't sure.

I have a multifamily that I'm trying to determine if its two 1 bedroom units, or two 2 bedroom units. I always just assumed it was two single bedroom units, but the town records show it as 4 bedrooms total.

Each unit has full kitchen, full bathrooms, and two additional rooms same size with closets in both.

I thought, you use 1 room as a bedroom, 1 as a living room.

Or, do I advertise this as a 2 bedroom with no living room?

Thanks
