@Brennan Taberna

Hi Brennan! What part of Washington? State, or DC?

If state, shoot me a message and I can get you in touch with a local lender who can tell you exactly what you need.

Once you get a plan worked out, I’d be honored to help you find your first house hack.

@Stacy Handlin-Lefever Hi Stacy, and welcome! It can definitely be overwhelming, but is oh so rewarding.  Listening to the podcasts and reading is a great place to start! Just don't get so sucked into the learning and analysis that you paralyze yourself into inaction. I just helped a couple on BP down in Everett get started though, so know that it can be done!

The biggest question is, what do you want to do? How do you want to start?  Rentals? House hack? Fix and flip? Multi?

Feel free to message or call/text me. I'm always happy to give advice to someone new, and can either help you directly, refer you to a solid investor-friendly agent close by, or just be a sounding board to bounce ideas off of.  I'm happy to help in any way you'd like.

So was this a fix and flip or a house hack? You mention both in your post, and I'm leaning toward the house hack.

How long did you own it? Did you make a profit after closing costs?

Landscape looks beautiful! It makes me want to hire you for my next project!

@Leland James I would recommend talking to other investors you've worked with.  As a GC, do you do rehabs for any other investors?

I joined in a partnership after doing a flip with my GC.  We  ended up working well together, and decided to start doing deal together.  I get a GC that is dedicated and invested in our deals, and will prioritize them.  He gets access to investing in deals, and its a win win.

@Ivan Oberon hi Ian. I’m not sure about expos, but there are a lot of meetups in the Seattle area. I also know of several properties that would make great flips if you’re looking at the PNW.

@Ian Russell are you looking for your 188k as the all in, or are you going to finance the rest? What is your objective, cash flow or appreciation? I might have a few solid options for you.
