Yes. You will need capital to buy real estate. When you get more specific on what those big dreams are you will be ready to crush it w/the power of real estate. All of the information is out there you just need to spend a little more time looking for it. Nevertheless welcome to BiggerPockets, you've come to the right place brother.

I would suggest posting on the marketplace also! Maybe add pictures and some more information if you could, sounds solid! 

I'm sure all of the advice you could ever need has been suggested already, but for me personally, the BiggerPockets Podcast has been huge! There are over 150 of them now and they all have great tips and pieces of advice

Man. Being a professional ball player one can only assume you have a good (higher than average) amount of money to push into real estate.. sometimes that can be a bad thing for a lot of people 

I think it would be best to find someone you trust currently investing in real estate and partnering up on a few deals
