What areas of Seattle are you investing in and what types of properties?

@Greg Gaskill maybe @Patrick Britton can hook you up with a good RE attorney to advise you on the matter in the B-ham area.  I have yet to hear anything negative from investors who have their licenses.  

@Rawle Stanley welcome!!  What @Mehran K. said^^^^^!!  I listen to the BP podcasts with @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner EVERY time I'm in my car.  I have an Android phone so I stream it on Stitcher.  I listen to EVERY episode! Even if the subject doesn't fit my immediate goals/direction, I always take something from the podcast I can use!  When I find an episode that really hits home with me, I'll listen to it many times!  Oh, and it's FREE!!

@Patrick Britton Thanks for the idea!  I'll let you know if I figure anything out!!  Also, look for a free renewal on your next REIAWA membership!  I talked to Shirley Henderson and am very impressed.  When I join, you will be credited :)

@Ronald Hunt why will the lender only do $100K loan on the property?  Is that based on a $160K purchase price and they want you to come up with a $60K down payment?

Welcome @Greg Gaskill from Marysville, WA! I have never heard from an investor with a broker's license who said it was a problem. If anything it helps you take control of your own resources using the MLS to check out properties, run your own comps and list your own properties without having to rely on a Realtor to get back to you.

Don't forget to listen to the Bigger Pockets Podcast with @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner .  There is tons priceless info their guests share!

I am meeting with my attorney next week to discuss this (see attachment) because I am going to wholesale with his guidance.  Gosh darn Washington State!
