I had a bit of a plan. My wife and I spent the last year we lived in Oregon living very frugally and saving up as much as possible. When the school year finished we packed up our car, dropped it off with family and moved to New Zealand. People obviously thought we were a bit crazy but most people aren’t going to understand doing things differently.

Definitely keep it up with the connections and don’t be afraid to ask any questions!

With the 9-5 in place it can be so easy to fall into that analysis paralysis. Honestly just keep learning as much as possible and know your market. You should be able to see a house and know pretty quickly what the numbers will look like.

Welcome to the community! Aside from the education part, your going to want to find an investor friendly agent/lender. An agent that knows investing is going to be very helpful in getting you that first deal. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out!

Keep it up, if there's a will there's a way! Financing can be one  of the most stressful and tricky parts of an investment but there are so many resources out there and creative strategies. Keep connecting with others and never stop seeking more knowledge.
