@Jimmy Constantopoulos Welcome to Bigger Pockets Jimmy. It is always nice to see other investors from Queens. I live in Bayside Queens, it sounds like you have a lot of experience in real estate and am sure many of us can learn from your experience as well! I would love to get together grab a coffee and pick your brain on the many facets of real estate you are involved in. This is a very receptive community as you can see, if you have any questions there are plenty of people willing to help, there is also a vast amount of material through various forum posts, blogs, and podcasts as well. Again welcome Jimmy!

@AdaPia DErrico Welcome to the site! Crowdfunding does seem to be the hot topic. Crowdfunding could have the same impact as the REIT act had back in 1960. But I would love to pick your brain on the topic! Again welcome to site!

@Gianni Laverde Welcome to BP Gianni! Always good to see other members representing Queens. I live in Bayside myself. You have nothing to be afraid of with a site like this. Any questions that you have ask away. There is enough information here to make an encyclopedia on real estate investing @Joshua Dorkin ...hint hint, JK! Anyways welcome to BP and try to make our meet up on March 11th in NYC and meet other members, if you ever want to grab a coffee and chat about real estate investing just let me know. Best of luck!

@Justin LaValley Welcome Justin, its always nice to see others from Queens on BP! It sounds like you have a solid plan laid out for yourself. I would consider looking in your own backyard before looking in another state. You would be surprised about the entry level in NYC (the 5 boroughs), it always seems that people think you have to be a millioaire to invest in the NY market. That is just not the case! if you would like to discuss further feel free to contact me. Soak up as much info as you can from the site, there are so VERY experienced investors on this site that can guide you along, best of luck Justin and try to make it to our BP meet up on March 12 in NYC.

@Account Closed Hey Kemba you would actually be surprised the entry level to investing in NYC (boroughs). Everyone seems to mix Park Ave in NYC and the boroughs in the same conversation when in fact they are different worlds. People from NYC area should look in their own backyards before going some where else there is opportunity to get into the market right here in NY! If you would like to discuss further just let me know!

@S. Michael Harpaul Hey Michael difintly come to the meet up it will be a great oppurtunity to learn and network. I would suggest the bigger pockets beginner guide its a great one, also you have to read Gary Keller's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, its very similar to this website it gives you practicable advice that you can move on. Best advice is just to go through all the forems, personally I have read 50 books on real estate and I have learned more from this site than all 50 combined. Hope this helps, if you need anything or have any questions just let me know, best of luck!
