Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone had some local contacts for a handy man who could do some work at my property.

Bear in mind that handy men are limited by law as to the total amount of work they can perform. The number in Arizona is $1,000, including labor and materials. So if you have minor stuff like installing ceiling fans, etc, a handyman is definitely the way to go. But more major projects like bathroom remodel, etc will require a licensed contractor. Also anything that requires a permit.

My handyman rehabs 2 or 3 houses per year for me.

Mostly cosmetic stuff. I hire an electrician and HVAC guy separately.

Welcome to the forums Jeff!

I have found local Facebook groups to be a valuable tool when looking for handy people. There are also a lot of people in the Phoenix area on the forums, though, so this is also a great resource!

Our company does a lot of sourcing for operators and we have found local Facebook groups to be the best. Other operators love sharing who they work with. A simple search in the groups will yield you many new contacts.

I'm a seasoned contractor newly relocated to Chandler and looking for some side work / Handyman stuff for the short term.

I offer exceptional work and attention to detail, an immense knowledge of contracting and real estate in general. If you're still looking for someone feel free to message me here and we can discuss further what it is exactly you're needing.
