1) I set up a google voice account and linked it to my cell phone however I haven't found a way to set up the voice mail for it.

This isn't a cell phone opt out list.

Last thought, if you have sign ordinances in your community then setting out an illegal sign and using tricks using cell numbers, recorders, and all the other tactics to avoid those legal issues is already dealing unethically, intentionally breaking laws.

Or just use your every day cell?

I am unwilling to work with any lender that won't give me their cell number.Maybe I am old school, but I take you on your word.

We were still ok and paying down debt, being very frugal (cut back on cable, cell phone to talk and text only, no going out to eat), and putting minimal amounts into savings still.

Save your money & time, you can learn much more by just reading an RE investment book, journal articles, and BP forum, not to mention talking to local experts and doing RE yourself (of course by starting out small, and increasing over time).
