I did some postcards and yellow letters with them at the time but ran out of marketing budget so hung it up.

I.E. letters, post cards, bandit signs, etc... without proper tracking, split testing of copy, headlines, CTA's.

I think most post cards go straight in the trash, but a hand written envelope is usually at least opened.

I hate getting the calls, texts, emails and postcards with a passion but I respect the hustle.

I am not allowed to broadly advertise specific commission rates; however, I am allowed to mail postcards offering special commission rates to areas where I've recently sold or if they give me permission to target a specific group (like non-owner-occupants in a specific zip code, for example).

We want to do this so we don't have to put our personal phone numbers on the bandit signs & postcards.

You can't send generic letters or Yellow postcards for big deals like these.

It's higher effort and lower volume than calling, and with today's social distancing, people are likely not to want you on their door step.Sending letters and postcards can be expensive, but takes very little effort to reach a lot of people.Setting up a website with good SEO and conversion is going to take a long time, and will require spending money on PPC.If cost is your biggest obstacle (it usually is), then I would do some D4D and cold-calling.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not to just hit pause on my mailings and let all the postcards they've received for months marinate now while I reduce my monthly spend. What is everyone else doing if they have substantial assets committed to direct mail marketing each month?

That is my point, you need to justify it to YOU, and FOR you, because if you are just going to "try" buying a list, and sending 3000 postcards you will be out $2K-$4K in total. That is a lot of money to just try.Sending anything less than 3000 mailers is a waste of time and you most likely won't get a lead/deal.
