I spoke to three people about a block I plan to purchase a home on, and without asking a thing from either I got a description from each. “You buying a mansion…”, “You buying a mini-mansion…”, “Dam, you buying a big a$$ house…”.
Not to call them out because I’ve been hearing those sayings for years. I honestly never knew how to distinguish one from the other (outside of the obvious Oprah Jordan Buffett’s homes).
Is there a set stat to separate the three classifications? If not and you use these terms what are your specs to determining the difference?
Mansion
Mini-Mansion
Big A$$ House

@Don Konipol was saying i pay cash for the lowest deal. Not sure what you would consider the best but:

I spent $13950 - $2000 renovation. Moved out of a smaller home that i was paying $1200 a month for and owed $130,000. Making me Mortgage free.

I did have a $21,000 purchase that i made $4,000 from the content which was equivalent to what it cost to rehab.

Working on a deal now Totalling $15,500 with 2700 down $400 a month with no intrest. (quit claim from a family friend)

Hey Michael I'm looking for the same thing same side of town. Maybe we should work together on giving a GC a worthwhile amount of business for good pricing?

Mike if you have any reccomendations the scope of work I'm looking at is 1 home a few small upgrades, and another total gut redesign and luxury rebuild.
