Great thread... I think tenants will look at you differently if you drive a "nice" car. For future tenants one good piece of advice was look how their tenant keep their car, they will keep their car like their home..

A car is a mode of transportation- I guess it really just comes down to priorities. If tenants pay rent, they may also be paying a car payment.

Hi @Daniel Jodrey

You are looking to house hack with a HUD home correct? With an FHA you put 3.5% down and live in the property for 12 months.. This sounds like a great idea. I am looking to invest in an milti family, house hack, and put 3.5% down so we are on similar paths..

I am also interested in learning more about HUD+ foreclosed homes but primarily focusing on multi families.

@John Chea I believe an FHA loan you only have to live in one of the four units.... Talk to a few for lenders and see what they can do for you

@Flavio Zanetti

The market is very tough in this area... I am looking more towards Worcester County and the search is difficult.. Daily just keep looking for leads and eventually the process will lead you to the result of new properties
