Have you asked your Houston financial backers if they would consider working with you in your new location? If you were successful in Houston it would make sense for them to continue working with you

@Matt Schaugaard I have no issue with the evaluation fee as that pays for Independant evaluations. what is the justification for the $2500 up front fee? can you see that buy charging this fee and giving nothing in return then refusing to fund deals can only give your company negative reviews?

I had discussions with your team when I was looking to fund a flip, even with some of the negative stories on here, but your guys on the phone could not explain WHY I should pay such a large upfront fee.

@Michael Quarles It says you make an offer within 48hrs... Do you make offers without seeing the property?

Welcome to BP! @Richard Mancini

I lived in Wylie for several years, I loved it there and hope to move back some day!

So my direct mail campaign has been going well, however I notice that many people calling me are asking what made me contact them about their property. This particular campaign has been based around "driving for dollars". I am fearful of saying I contacted them because their property looks in like it is in need of attention as I do not want to insult anyone.

So what do you all say to this question? I assume it must be pretty common?

Is there a reason you are pushing them so hard? Calling 6 times seems excessive. Even if they were interested previously, they clearly are not interested now. Move on to someone else.

If there is the potential of so much profit is there a reason you cannot do the deal yourself rather than wholesale? I assume with such a large profit this is a flip?

@Clint Galliano Welcome to BP! This is a great site for information and strategy planning! My idea of REI completely changed after a few days on here! I am also an oilfield worker looking for the freedom that real estate can bring, especially in these days of sub $40 oil prices.
