Hi Brandi,

I went to his 3 day seminar a few months ago and definitely learned some new things. He presents tons of different strategies in real estate and it's a lot to wrap you're head around. There is a pitch at the end trying to get you to pay thousands his mentor program. I agree local meetups without anybody pitching their products is the way to go as well as reading and listening to podcasts and keeping up with the local news on BP.

Hey Jon,

There's a group of us meeting at the Grease Monkey in Arlington at 7pm on July 17, it will be the second meetup with this group, no pitching at all just discussing real estate at a table with about 10 people, will get you inspired!

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has had any success in using their investment properties as Airbnb's. If so I'd be very interested in meeting up as I'm thinking of going this route after listening to the BP podcast from last week featuring Zeona McIntyre.

Nice Steven I enjoy sports a lot too (basketball and football) and totally agree with what you said about the talk shows being repetitive and adding nothing to your life. Subbing out sports TV shows for shows on TV like zombie house flipping is a great idea also!

Hello everybody,

I'm looking to purchase my first investment property in Dallas with my friend. We are using the 50% rule and the 2% test example to help analyze deals. I was wondering what the quickest and most accurate way is to find estimated rents and insurance for properties. Thanks!

Hi David,

Looking for a property management or leasing agent position. I'd also be happy working for somebody who has their own business in buying real estate investments. I plan on turning my license active once I move to Austin, but don't think being an agent would be adequate for a living right off the bat with little connections in the area. I'll connect with you on here and let you know about working for KW!

Hello,

I will be moving to Austin in the next month and am looking for real estate job opportunities. I have discovered that real estate is my passion this past year and have educated myself through the BP podcasts, different meetups, and reading. I have been been working at a real estate auction company the past year. I recently acquired my real estate license and have my BA in finance. Don't want to be a full time real estate agent yet, so working at a real estate company to find deals, do some accounting, or anything that is needed of me would be great for now. Does anybody have any ideas of where I can find an opportunity like this?

Thanks!!
