Does anyone have experience with Phill Grove and the REIA in Dallas? I attended a meeting and signed up for a free 3 day event in Dallas this weekend. Would love some feed back. Thanks!!

HI Brandi, just my two cents, I would stay away from guru events that are intended to up-sell you to the next more expensive event/level.

I would focus in on some of the free real estate groups, read some of the BP books and listen to the podcasts.  IMO the best experience is just doing.  ESPECIALLY if your husband has contacts in the trades.

I would recommend having him reach out to a local experienced investor and offer up some help on a project or two to learn the business or even possibly partner on a deal.  JMO.

My wife and I did a flip last year, and honestly we spent a lot less and learned a LOT more than any GURU seminar.

Best of luck to you!!!!
