Sports talk out, BP in!

I drive a lot for work. And I used to fill those hours with constant sports talk radio. Show after show, same topics regurgitated by different talking heads. Me getting nothing of value in return. What a miserable existence I created for myself. Then I stumbled upon the Bigger Pockets Podcast. And wow, so much useful stuff. For FREE! No guru trying to sell me anything. No get rich quick nonsense. Just great info by those who've done it and are doing it! From there I've started listening to the audiobooks of the suggested reading from the show. 4- hour work week. The E Myth. Think and Grow Rich. And those positive messages have really contributed to my happiness and optimistic outlook on life. I have a lust for knowledge now that I don't remember having since kindergarten! So I'd like to say thanks to BP for putting me on the path to not only financial freedom, but also freedom of thought and purpose. Freedom to dream again. I still love listening to good indie music. And I still love my Dallas Cowboys. But I've removed 24 hour sports talk from my life (much of it negative.) And I feel so much better. Refreshed. Recharged. And ready to accomplish the impossible! Stevo :)

Nice Steven I enjoy sports a lot too (basketball and football) and totally agree with what you said about the talk shows being repetitive and adding nothing to your life. Subbing out sports TV shows for shows on TV like zombie house flipping is a great idea also!
