Looking to network in DFW

I am looking to nework with wholesalers and local real estate investors.  My background is 12 years experience in residential construction. The past year I have  dabbled in real estate completed a couple of flips.   I have tried a couple of local meet ups and found that they are just trying to pitch you something not interested in that I'm just looking to build relationships with local investors and wholesalers.
