Hi, most inspector will recommend a structural engineer if they think is needed, unless there are issues there is no need for a structural engineer, I think. You can take some training from NASHI.ORG or ASHI and learn a lot about defects on homes.

HI, Sorry to hear your inspector fail to do a good job, but first, Why 2 inspectors? and if you hire the inspector or inspectors they are not suppose to discussed the issues with the owner unless you give them authorization. Yes you can escalate this specially if he refuse to answer you. Check with the state occupational license dept they rule the entire state normally they can help you or a attorney. Check Nashi.org or Ashi to see if they are members.

Hi Alejandro Lisson Ramirez like manny comments here the area you highlight is basic information what you need to look is at what deficiencies he mention. MOst inspectors will cover them self y referring to a professional, a inspector doesn't know it all, they find a defect and recommend their opinion and how bad it is. You should talk to your inspector for any question you might have, some of them can do a virtual walk through if you are far or send a video via youtube. Si tiene alguna pregunta me puede escribir tambien. pro home n building inspectors arroba g mail, todo junto.
