I do not have much experience but my wife is a realtor, I Personally won't do anything bigger than 3/2 2100 SQFT, preferably 2/2 1800. In FL there are a lot of retirees and income are not that high but rents range around 2300 to 3000 for 3/2 and 1300 to 1900 for 2/2 depending how close to the water you are or how fancy the area is. About the GAP, insurance and taxes are a big head wind.
