Alvin Price Welcome to BP. This website has been a wealth of knowlege for me since I joined. I'd recommend the podcasts for sure. Easy to listen to while hunting for properties all day. I'd agree that the outskirts like Round Rock and Pflugerville offer good deals particularly for cash flow but I've still been lucky enough to find fix/flip deals in central Austin. Welcome to BP @Account Closed . I would agree with the others above. It really depends on what your end goal is. Is it appreciation or to have a certain amount of cash flow? Round Rock is a great area for a rental and I've helped a couple investors find homes that meet the 1% rule there. Feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to share my experiences.
