Hello BP community! I am Alvin Price, from Pflugerville (a suburb of Austin, TX). I am a 20-year employee of the financial services industry who has decided to take the necessary steps toward entrepreneurship and financial independence. I have been a landlord for 12 years (2 properties up until 2014, when I sold one) and am finally going to act on my passion for real estate by building a fix and flip business. I am handy and a quick learner, which will be beneficial as I plan to do most of the work on my first few flips until I have enough capital to hire contractors to allow me to focus on building the business. I hope to be a member who eventually contributes to the community as much as I glean from it. Let's grow together!

Welcome to the community, I'm in Texas too in the Dallas area. The best thing I have done here so far is to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes, start at podcast 1 and listen to every single one in order. Its a great introduction to BP, the leaders here, and an introduction to many REI techniques. After listening to so many, I'm speaking the language as if I was on the podcasts with them... Its a great education/BP indoctrination.
