Welcome to the site! I'm not too experienced as of yet but I think generally speaking if it wouldn't have been your friend I personally would not have put such a big down payment until they were already out of the house. But, he is your friend, and if you trust him, why not? I don't see a problem with it.

Congratulations! I am very happy for you.

To be honest I was very surprised to know that San Antonio would make it on the list, and that is because I am from there. But nonetheless, thanks for sharing this vital and interesting information.

I definitely would be interested in analyzing deals with you. Please let me know how, when, or where you'd be comfortable doing this. I am all in on this idea!

@Leland Barrow Thanks also for sharing your insight on the real estate degree and welcoming me onto this forum! I'm very excited, and nervous. There is a lot of information on here, so I'm trying to gather what I need to be able to make my first deal. I am on the side of low cash, with a minimum wage job at the moment, but that does not stop me from seeing the bigger picture and dreaming on. Therefore, I feel as though this first deal is a huge obstacle to overcome, but once I do the snowball effect will take place, hopefully. Thanks so much for sharing your insight with me.

@Tim Macy Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom with me, it truly is appreciated. I am in fact, very excited to link up and get to understand this very unique market that San Antonio has to offer. In any way I could be of assistance and also begin and initiate my baby steps into the realm of real estate, I'd be more than happy to. Thanks for also sharing your wisdom and spreading some light in regards to the degree path I was considering taking. I definitely will think long and hard about it, but it's enlightening to hear your perspective on it.

Thanks so much. If you happen to have any getting started resources you'd recommend I'd love to take a look at them.

@Armando Jalomo Definitely interested in linking up and learning about financing. I know it's going to be a huge part of this field.

Hey there and welcome to this platform. I'm excited to see other members in exactly the same stage as myself. Although I didn't plan to begin executing next year, I'm projecting that's about where it'll happen. And it just so happens that I live in the San Antonio area. It would be great to network with one-another and help each other learn. Please continue to strive forward and best of luck to you.
