@Shuo C. At first it does seem un obtainable or difficult investing out of state. I agree it can be risky but so can any real estate investment. The important thing when investing out of state is to get a good team to work with. Talk to as many investors, agents, property managers etc.. as you can. Decide on your strategy, criteria, price point and jump and ask as many questions as possible. I work with investors and the market is hot here in Kansas City so it can be competitive but don't let it stop you. If you are thinking about getting into the Kc market reach out to some of the nice guys in this thread or myself anyone of us would be happy to help.

So you are off to a good start and I wish you the best with your Real Estate Investing. Our market here in Kc is getting very popular and rightfully so. Feel free to reach out anytime with any questions. I can share my resources of property managers, lenders etc.. to help get you going.

@Alexander Parada Multi-family is a nice niche to attack. I'm not sure about in Texas or California but my guess is it's expensive there hence the reason for the out of state inquiry. It is definitely not too expensive in our market here in Kc especially compared to the states mentioned. My advice with any out of state investing is to make sure you have a good team on the ground. If you have a solid team, agent, property manager and G.C. for example then I think anyone can be successful. If you or @Abraham Kaplan ever have any questions about our market feel free to reach out anytime. I wish you all success with all your investment endeavors.

@Alex Clark Sounds like you are off to a good start. I always recommend house hacking as a viable option to start investing in real estate. To me it just makes sense, you learn first hand how to manage a property, make cash flow or live for cheap/free it's  a win win. Then when you are ready to make that next move it's an asset that pays for your next property. NICE!!

Hey nice to meet you and welcome back! The city is growing for sure, there are a few meetups and FB groups that are all local and all about real estate. I would be happy to share some of the many groups that I'm aware of. Most groups have gone virtual since the virus but are still meeting. I can think of 3 off the top of my head the Bridge group which meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month I believe, Winvestors, MAREI all meet via zoom. My office is in Blue Springs but I work all over. I'd be happy to connect, if you need any help or have any questions feel free to reach out. I love talking real estate!
