I'm a professional web developer and do a lot of side projects. I also run online businesses. 

1) You will want a website that has a form submit so you can capture email, phone number, etc. of people who are interested that visit your site. It's not a bad idea to have it on each page. 

2) You want to consistently post articles on your website. The content is what will show up in search engines. Not some landing page.  

3) Press releases are usually published by other websites. You pay an established site to post an article about your business with do follow links back to your website. You get traffic coming to your site from people reading the article on your their site. It's also great for SEO as you build strong back links to your site. 

I'd recommend reaching out to local banks here in Louisville and see how they can help.
