Do they do FHA loans?

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a multifamily and want to look into FHA financing. Can someone recommend a bank/lender that specializes in FHA loans? I want to work with someone who has done this before so the process isn't as painful as I have heard it can be.

Need someone in Fairfield, Ct or fairfield county CT.

Hi Carlos,

I'm a newbie but have been looking into house hacking a multi myself and have looked at FHA financing. If the numbers work, why not do the 203k streamline (FHA)? You can use up to $35000 without an FHA inspection. Fold it all (repairs and mortgage) into one loan and go! You also only have to put down 3.5% but just remember you will be paying PMI with 3.5% down, and that doesn't go away until you refinance out of the loan. Just make sure your numbers work after all expenses and you cash flow. Run the numbers as if you will not be living there.

I'm looking to buy a multifamiliy in Fairfield County in the next year. There are a lot of multi's in Brigdeport but the taxes are high and rents are average. 

I would love to chat with some investors who own in Bridgeport (Black Rock, Brooklawn and North Bridgeport area) and get some opinions and their take on investing in Bridgeport.
