@Mary Mitchell Maybe not “search and seizure” but it sure is a “search and tax.” It’s a money grab. The amount of validity is no different than when a teenager is pulled over for going 71 in a 65 and mysteriously the police need to search his BMW.

@Rob Bergeron Where is the line drawn between short and long term rentals? Ie...would there be a crackdown on 6 month, 12 month+ or does this appear to be a crackdown of the VRBO, Airbnb type of property usage?

@Patrick Fraire Doesn’t smell right. Sell, refi, rent to somebody else, Airbnb, hope it gets hit by lightning, do anything other than rent to this person/people.

Alrighty then! I appreciate the feedback. Structure can't be older than maybe the 1960s (though probably newer) and completely surrounded by other like kind buildings, so it caught me by surprise.
