Hi, A co-worker paid ~$5k for either a Rich Dad Coaching Or Mentoring several years ago (~2010). He stated  it was worth the money. As I recall, he downloaded a chapter each week, he had  weekly phone contact with the Rich Dad (Robert Kiyosaki) staff.   I know that he did a lot of background checking before  he signed up. I believe he did a Joint Venture on a investment property. Also, he had homework in terms of looking up property & evaluating it for a purchase.

Best Wishes for your Success,

Mitch

I would suggest that you try to find a position where you could be someones assistant & get paid an hourly salary while you hang on to one of your jobs.. There is a lot of expenses starting out as an agent - Association Fee's incl MLS, Brokerage fee's ect. This way you could receive a modest salary & learn at the same time.

Good Luck, Mitch

Hi, Tom emailed me today. No location Or Price as yet. Probably in Dallas,TX area. Tom spoke at the Paper Source Symposium this past April. ( Next Years date is April 27 – 29, 2017 ). He was an excellent speaker & always approachable with questions.

We hope to see you, Mitch .  Part of Tom's Email below.

Tom Henderson-I will be giving a notes class on June 25 from 9 to 1. Some of the material will be the same as at the Paper Source, but I will be going into more detail on partials and who gets what in the event of defaults or early payoffs.

Take care

Hi, My wife & I met Tom at the Paper Source Symposium in Las Vegas in April. I spoke with him last week & he plans to have a Note Investing Class either in June Or July. Date , Location & Times still pending as of last week. He told me he'd announce it in his Newsletter. We hope to meet you at the event . My wife & I purchased his Note Workbook & it was a reasonable price. He has it as a PDF Book but we like a Physical Book.

search self directed ,Non Traditional companies. Call them up and talk with them. Also, Ask where they are having seminars, meet ups ,Ect.

I know that Equity Trust and others have Bational Convention s .Remember, Pay for Education 1st Or You Pay for it Later, But you do pay for it.

My wife and I attended our NWREIA mtg and listened to several speakers over ~ 6 months we attended mtg and seminars before selecting the company. We used

IRA Advantage in Portland, but I know of a company in Phoenix and Texas. Then they did the docs - LLCfor our Checkbook IRA and our custodian is IRA Services in California. We 'll be attending IE Meetup next month - a rep from IRA Services is supposed to speak.

Just think of these guys as used car salesmen and  Good Luck!

We lived in SW Portland & I recall someone at the REIA ( NWREIA) stating they found resonable MF North of Salem Oregon - Possibly Newburg ( were reasonably priced?)

My wife & I have a SFH (3/2) that will be vacant next month after June 09,2016 . PM me if you want more info.

Good Luck, Mitch

My wife & I attended the Paper Source Note Symposium last month in Las Vegas. Tom Henderson, The Note Professor has either a CD Or Physical Book on Note Investing & Gary Johnston of

Gary Johnston Seminars,a book by Henry Dvorken. One of the speakers- The Note Queen, stated she was educated by Henry, Henry is now deceased .

Finally, One normally can not access ones retirement monies from ones Employer. One normally will need to roll money over from an existing Retirement Account Or Fund a new Self Directed Retirement Acct.

Good Luck,  Mitch S.
