I use this strategy almost exclusively. Contact the assesors office in your county and have them provide the list to you under the freedome of information act (Name might be different depending on the state you live in; some states call it Open Records Act and others call it Right To Know law).

They are legally obligated to give you the information if you properly request it (it must be readily available, however).

For you other two, I wasnt suggesting this for telemarketing (cold calling).

I think you missed this part of my post: "...this is a great way follow up with a bunch of sellers who werent quite ready to sell previously."

I was suggesting this as part of a follow-up strategy. That is, using it return calls to people who have ALREADY called you.
