For November we are hosting our first of a series of "Newbie Field Trips". We will be hosting a few meetups a year in the field so we can see deals, not just talk about them. This field trip is hosted by Josh Hively and Caitlin Zupancic. Our BRRRR deal in West Gate will be nearly finished with renovations and waiting on tenants. We will dive into the numbers and talk about some of the lessons learned.

If you have questions you want answered at this event head on over to twitter and post your questions under #Newbierei and #BRRRR. Also introducing #Newbiefieldtrip

@Asia Taylor

Hi Asia. You are going to get a lot comments here from potential real estate agents. I would recommend interviewing several to find the right fit. I will send you a message with some referals.

As far as CPA I reccomend contacting Busch Tax Company.

I recently heard on a podcast where the owner was actually giving discounted rent for the final month, for the tenants to allow some of the necessary renovations to be completed. That being said, I'll have to agree with @Michael Noto on this one. It just depends. The last unit I rented I showed to some tenants while I had the entire kitchen ripped out and they put down a deposit.

@Danielle Reymann Welcome to BP! If you have questions about private money, I can't recommend enough "Raising private capital" by Matt Faircloth. I would also suggest reaching out to some hard money lenders to get an idea of their terms and requirements. If are interested in any specific referrals, message me and I would be happy to share the contacts I have!
